We're growing strongly. We operate from a 3 hectare facility in Avoca Valley and two other existing facilities in Belfast and Burwood to accommodate increasing demand and allow us to keep innovating in all we do.
We're now looking for a Grower to join our team for the further expansion and future innovation at Zealandia Horticulture.
Your mission
You'll work with a committed team demonstrating industry expertise with hands-on experience. You'll bring all your skills, backed by relevant industry training and qualifications, to bring out the best in products distributed to our customers.
You'll also:
- Be an experienced grower
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent growing experience either in horticulture or agriculture
- Hold a current GrowSafe certificate
- Have a sound knowledge of industry-wide plant and equipment
- Be adept with technology
- Be energetic and fit
- Possess strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Rise to challenges and advocate for what's important - to you, the growing team and the company
- Enjoy the achievement of products grown to a high standard
- Hold a current forklift licence (desirable but not essential)

We grow bedding plants, potted colour and houseplants, as well as a wide variety of commercial vegetable plants. Clients include garden retailers and commercial vegetable producers around the country. Our commitment to quality sees us deliver seedlings to customers in our own fleet of temperature-controlled trucks.
