We, at The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust, provide residential and vocational services and a lifestyle for men and women with a range of disabilities including traumatic brain injuries.

About the role

We are looking for people to join our Team with the focus on client rehabilitation, coaching or teaching new skills, including meaningful social and recreational skills that interest them.

Skills and experience

Our ideal person will have:

• Experience working in the health and disability or teaching sector
• The ability to be a great motivator and team player and have a demonstrated ability to get alongside and 'walk in someone else's shoes'
• Experience of working with challenging behaviour
• Excellent personal boundaries with the ability to provide professional care and support
• A current full Drivers Licence (and be able to drive a manual car)
• A committed to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
• Applicants for these positions should have NZ residency or a NZ Work Visa.  Work Visas are to be valid for a minimum of 12 months from application.
