About the role

We are seeking a resourceful person as a Training and Education Coordinator with a base marketing skill level, to aid in progressing an internal workplace development programme, administrate our industry based training courses and to assist in promoting marketing channels and activities. We will look at all levels of applications.

It is envisioned this will be a full time role but if you are part time you are asked to submit an application.

Learning, Development and Engagement are your passion.  

You will be dynamic with the confidence and ability to co-ordinate and develop programme delivery and support all external offerings.

You will be responsible for the day to day organising of our workplace training programmes.

Have a base understanding of CRM and customer databases.

Knowledge of electronic marketing and social media operations for business will be an added bonus.

You will need to think on your feet, need to be self-driven, be an excellent communicator and people person, and enjoy being part of an awesome team.

Skills and experience

  • Customer and Team focussed
  • The ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Knowledge of adult education, training and development (ideally in a workplace context)
  • Experience working with external training providers
  • Great communication – high level of written and oral skills
  • Knowledge of NZQA
  • Event management skills for training and demonstration events
  • The ability to prioritise tasks so that deadlines are met and projects are managed effectively
  • Experience creating training materials – Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Creative Suite
