Position Summary:
To provide high quality Music therapy service which is centred on the learning needs of the students, reflecting cultural, whanau and individual needs and goals; ensuring that the values and philosophies of Hohepa School are maintained at all times.
Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Music Therapy, which allows for membership of the Music Therapy Association, proven teaching experience, strong planning and organisational skills, and contribute well in a team environment.
A teaching qualification and knowledge of the NZ Education Curriculum and experience in Steiner education are an advantage.
The role is a full time position.
Applicants must be either a New Zealand citizen, hold a New Zealand Resident Permit or have a current New Zealand Work Permit for 12 months or more.
Hohepa is a therapeutic community based on the work of Rudolf Steiner. It is expected that the principles of Curative Education will be respected by the applicant and the required practices be applied in his/her work.
