Our Quality and Compliance team are growing with a new role created for a full-time Coordinator (hours negotiable) reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. This will be a hands-on role that will add to NZIE's desire to strive for education excellence.
About the Role
You will be actively involved in the coordination and the internal facilitation of NZIE's policies and processes around assessment marking and moderation.
As well this core purpose, you will be responsible for:
- Completing Academic Projects for a variety of academic programmes.
- Contributing to curriculum development.
- Directing and coordinating Compliance guidelines to NZQA standards.
- Providing support to the Quality Assurance Manager for Academic Audits etc.
- Assisting the Management Team with preparation for Academic Board meetings.
- Supporting the Programme Leaders to reach their goals for subject-matter Quality.
- Undertaking Self-Assessment projects and tasks as directed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in Assessment Marking and Moderation.
- Experience in a Tertiary Institution (ideally offering Business, Level 7 or above).
- Bachelors or higher in Tertiary Teaching.
The following experience would be an ADVANTAGE:
- Prior experience in training and/or facilitating.
- Additional experience and/or qualifications in Business related subjects.
- Prior experience in curriculum development, assessment writing and moderation.
