About the Role:
 
Plumbing World Porirua is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to look after all aspects of stock/inventory control from monitoring movements and sales trends to deciding on branch stock levels.
 
You will be well organised, system orientated and getting things right the first time minded.  You will take ownership of inventory management, purchasing and coordination of regular stock takes.
 
This is a very hands-on role so having excellent attention to detail & organisational skills, be appropriately assertive, be methodical & reliable and enjoy contributing to a successful team & business.
 
Customer service is also at the forefront of this position as you will not only be dealing with internal clients but also our external customers who are the core of our business.
 
We are looking for someone who has a solution-focused attitude, a willingness to learn, work in other areas of the branch and has great time management is the key to this position. 
 
Skills and experience:

• Attention to detail is fundamental to the success of this position
• Work with a sense of urgency and display plenty of initiative
• Establish and maintain core relationships with suppliers
• Strong administration skills in a driven and busy environment
• Understanding of plumbing products advantageous
