Laminex New Zealand is a diverse business incorporating Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales. With manufacturing sites in Hamilton and Taupo, Distribution Centres in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland, a high performing Customer Service Team in Auckland and 9 Sales/Customer Service Branches nationwide, we manufacture and distribute Laminex New Zealand products such as Meltica, Laminex and particleboard as well as buy in and on sell products sourced from 3rd parties.
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Supply chain analyst to join the Support office team in Auckland.
In this role you will manage the purchasing of decorative and building related products in accordance with Laminex NZ customer service and inventory management standards.
With a passion for data you will provide analysis and information enabling smart decisions to improve processes and procedures across the Supply Chain while maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to maximize synergy benefits.
Responsible for facilitating and implementing National purchasing decisions from the forecasting and demand planning processes with Sales and Marketing in order to meet customer service DIFOTIS performance.
To be successful it is expected that you will have a proven background in supply chain and purchasing along with strong problem solving and decision making skills, the ability to influence others to gain their buy in, and proven negotiation experience.
Kitchen or Building industry would be an advantage along with a tertiary qualification in supply chain or logistics.
