About the role:
The Executive Private Adviser role will work with the wider Executive Private Advisers team to develop and grow strategic target markets including:
- The Executives of the top 50 publically listed companies, by having a full knowledge of those companies, where they are banked, who the executives are and the current penetration by Westpac
- The Executives of NZ’s top 100 privately owned companies, in particular those Executives with existing WIB and Corporate relationships, and those Executives that run companies currently not banked by Westpac.
You will proactively grow, manage and retain a portfolio of ultra-high net worth (Private Wealth) clients. The Private Executive will be responsible for achieving their business plan by managing clients in across all sectors. Wherever possible the Private Executive clients will be defined as clients with income of +/-$500k p.a. or investible FUM >$3million.
You will be responsible for earning the position of ‘trusted adviser’ by understanding their client’s ongoing goals and objectives. Advisers will maintain strategic client plans for each client group to identify current and future needs and will work with their clients and colleagues and specialists to proactively tailor solutions to help achieve their simple and complex goals.
What you need to succeed:
- AFA qualified
- 10 years’ experience in the finance industry
- Proven networking abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, with a willingness to share with and learn from the best practice of colleagues
- Highly developed sales skills
