The Job
Our Dunedin based heavy haulage team are looking for a Building Relocation Manager to lead a talented crew of 4-6 staff members who are currently transporting between 75 and 90 buildings annually. Work primarily involves contract management, programming and planning works so everything runs smoothly, managing crews and subcontractors, and piloting loads from time to time. Sometimes early starts are required so being able to work flexible hours is a must.
The Candidate
We are looking for an exceptional leader with a good attitude and a talent for problem solving. You will ensure effective coordination of all people on jobs as well as developing and growing our business with clients and share our passion and dedication for creating a safe workplace environment.
The following skills and attributes are also required:
- Experience within building construction will be highly advantageous
- Clean class 1 drivers licence minimum
- Team leader with a talent for inspiring others to follow them
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Desire to lead and mentor a team
- Flexible and adaptable to change
