Our client is a leading financial institution generating wealth and prosperity to New Zealanders.
They are looking to appoint a Team Leader in the Risk Management team to monitor a small team of analysts.
The role involves managing and overseeing a range of risk tasks:
- Report on clients positions and market activity
- Validate the variation margin calculation on all cleared products through the system
- Prepare the daily risk reports
- Run stress testing and the risk capital requirement
- Preparation on reports monthly, quarterly and annually
- Lead analysts in their day to day activity
The person:
- Must have knowledge of the financial markets
- Knowledge of financial derivative pricing
- Experience of market risk management
- Knowledge of equity settlements
- Must be a strategic problem solver
- Enjoy Excel spreadsheets
- Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
