Waimea Estates is looking for a motivated and engaged team member for the role of Storeperson.

The role is based at our Appleby Highway winery and the successful person will receive a competitive remuneration package and be part of a growing dynamic business.

Initially a part time role we envisage that this will increase to a permanent position with the continued growth of our business.

Job Purpose

Perform an array of warehousing and distribution functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key Accountabilities

Pick and fill customer orders, sample shipments and competition entries and suitably package them for shipping.

Preparing monthly finished goods and dry goods stocktakes.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment and organize the warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.

Receive inwards goods and check against packing slips and freight manifests for correctness.

Co-ordinate hand labelling and repacking jobs.

Monitor stock levels and replenish as necessary.

Collate and despatch dry goods, according to the bill of materials, for bottling.

Successful Candidate will be

A very good communicator, organised, tidy, have sound time management and mathematical skills

Be dependable and Reliable

Understand Inventory, safe equipment use and maintenance.

Data entry and computer skills may be required

Current Forklift licenced and have OSH accreditation.

Physically fit and able.
