Due to High growth, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual who wishes to utilise their leadership skills and take the next step in their career to lead one of our high performing teams at a food manufacturing company in Upper Hutt.

While closely working alongside and supporting the Factory Manager, the purpose of this role is to lead a processing team of 8 responsible for:

• Accurate execution of production plans.  
• Ensuring operational, productivity and compliance targets are met.
• Monitoring and reporting on performance and compliance. 
• Ensuring manufacturing plant is effectively maintained. 
• Leadership and conformance to Health and safety.

You will also be expected to design, implement, maintain and improve factory policies and procedures

The ideal Candidate would be required to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Strong hands on People leadership skills
• High level of organisation & time management skills 
• Professionalism and fantastic Personal Hygiene. 
• Technical and mechanical skills related to operation and maintenance of modern, automated PLC equipment.
• Strong communication and detail skills required for compliance and reporting at a senior level. 

Plus demonstrate a personal ownership of previous positions and responsibilities. 

This is a hands on role and team fit is essential along with a willingness to get stuck in!
