About the Role
As Project Manager you will manage and lead our Steel projects through to successful delivery. You will be given the opportunity to manage Steel projects utilising a suite of industry leading project management systems. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager and a trainee Project Manager to oversee new projects.
Skills and Attributes
Being an integral member of our Steel team, you will have natural leadership ability, a thorough understanding of NZ commercial construction methods and confidently utilise your programming abilities to ensure your projects are delivered to programme and to the highest of standards. You are energetic, keen to learn and enjoy working within a team environment and wont be afraid to take ownership of your work.
Additionally, we will be looking for the following attributes from candidates:
- Proven past experience in a similar role is essential
- Understanding of Building/Construction practices
- Project Management or Business Management skills essential
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of organisational skills and extremely motivated
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Competence in Microsoft Office including MS Project (Sharepoint advantageous)
