We recognise the need for another production operative/programmer for our stainless steel fittings manufacturing company, Ultibend. www.ultibend.com
The role has the following responsibilities/skills:
- CNC Machine operation/ Programming
- Quality checking, sorting, and storing raw materials (steel sheet and tubular products)
- Check that the quality of parts produced conform to manufacturing specifications
- The use of in-house batch tracking systems
- Ability to identify issues and follow procedures for quality checks on production units
- Ability to understand numbers and how to measure accurately
- Ability to understand and implement batch-tracking systems
- Experience in metal processing and an understanding of basic stainless steel properties.
We are looking for responsible, reliable personnel who are willing and capable of learning and enabling us to intelligently grow our business. Initiative and a good attitude are important.
We require at least 2 years recent experience in a similar role and industry.
Shift work is a possibility in the future, so applicants will be required to be flexible with working hours.
Applicants interviewed will be asked to complete a short written test for literacy and numeracy. Only applicants with New Zealand citizenship or residency status will be considered.
