The Retail Solutions Team provides data driven solutions across ASB Retail Banking to help accelerate the financial progress of all New Zealanders. They collaborate with their stakeholders to understand their business. Whether they are making life easier for our customer facing colleagues in the Branches and Contact Centres or providing data and analysis to support executive level decisions, they simplify the complex and turn opportunities into solutions.
An opportunity has arisen for a Retail Solutions Specialist to join the team, to help drive a number of Retail Banking's key strategic objectives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and technology and is comfortable working closely with their stakeholders to solve ever-evolving business challenges. You will have experience working with database, analytics and/or web technologies; mashing Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Web Stack (.NET Framework, MVC, IIS), Kendo UI and other tools (SSIS, Excel, SSRS, Tableau, SharePoint) together to solve a business problem.
As a Retail Solution Specialist no two days are the same, you will spend your time:
- Delivering data driven solutions to respond to a business problem; or
- Providing analysis that deepens the understanding of the business; or
- Debugging and enhancing existing content; or
- Building proof of concepts that simplify and enable our business
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar environment and be tertiary qualified in a business or information technology discipline. Retail Banking experience would be a bonus. Your passion and demonstrated aptitude for data and technology is what you will be valued for and above all, you will be resourceful, dynamic and people-focused. You will enjoy working with your stakeholders as much as you enjoy working with technology!
