Have building or manufacturing experience and looking for a role in a busy production environment? Mitre 10’s Truss & Frame Plant in Waihi is looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic team member to join their busy production team. Our Truss & Frame Plant uses specialised processes and hi-tech equipment to pre-fabricate all types of trusses, frames, beams, and rafters to meet any requirement - big or small, domestic or commercial.
Days of work will be Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 4.30pm (45 hours/week)
Please note, this is a very physical job so we need someone who can handle the pace and manual handling requirements.
The ideal candidate for the role would be someone who:
- Displays initiative and resourcefulness;
- Demonstrates time management abilities and copes well in a fast-paced environment;
- Provides customers with the highest standard of service at all times;
- Ensures that all orders are made to Mitre 10’s standards;
- Can work on their feet for several hours at a time;
- Follows safe work practices, and complies to site Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Any production or pre-nail knowledge would be an advantage, although we would also consider an apprenticeship for the right candidate.
