About the business
An opportunity has arisen to work for a nutraceutical market leader, based in Albany. The successful candidate will be working for a successful and fast-growing New Zealand operated business, with a portfolio of over 350 products. Good Health is a natural health company supplying pharmacies, health stores and duty-free stores in NZ as well as a range of Export markets.
About the role
The successful candidate will report to the Supply Chain Manager. This role will be responsible for leading the forecast and planning process. Also be responsible for the correct demand and supply planning process in response to market developments whilst aiming for highest service level and optimised stocks. The position requires strong analytical and numerical skills as well as an individual who can work collaboratively with numerous stakeholders across the business.
Ideally you will have a broad range of experience across manufacturing supply chains, and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of demand & supply planning methodologies and techniques in manufacturing environments. Project management skills and the ability to action innovations will ensure your success in this role.

Duties will be:
- Work closely with the Production and Warehouse teams to implement Production plans to optimize the utilization and effectiveness of the manufacturing plant.
- Ensuring production schedules can flow smoothly from the production planning put in place
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be able to identify:
- Production and supply planning experience across a high SKU portfolio
- Sound supply chain knowledge as you will drive the local S & OP process
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with critical eye for detail
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency for analysing data
- Experienced managing long lead times of materials and inventory
- Experience in Good Manufacturing Process
- Strong personality, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Background within the nutritional supplement industry would be an advantage
- Competent user of ERP systems – experience in Exact would be an advantage
- Relevant Supply Chain or APICS qualifications would be an advantage
