We're a diverse and vibrant organisation that has been integral to the Kiwi way of life for over 170 years.  We are continually evolving and developing to create a more agile, streamlined and coordinated business that will continue to meet the needs of our customers into the future.

About the role:

The International Freight Services team, based at Auckland Airport, is a core of NZ Posts Operations. This busy role sits within an experienced team of professionals, so if you are looking to develop your career in Customs Brokerage then look no further.

The variety involved in this role will give you invaluable experience within Freight Forwarding - entry writing, tariff classifications, preparation of customs documentation, processing all sea and airfreight pre-clearances and liaising with Customs and MPI are just some of the daily responsibilities.

A bit about you:

We are looking for a Customs Broker who wants responsibility and the opportunity to demonstrate their efficiency and top level performance. To take advantage of this opportunity you will need a current PIN accreditation, a positive, proactive attitude and an ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of people. In addition, a sound knowledge of freight forwarding is required, as well as an ability to work under pressure and continuously manage changing priorities. Proven experience and confidence liaising with NZ Customs, MPI, NZFSA and other relevant bodies will be valued in this role. You will have a strong customer focus and dedication to meeting the high expectations of colleagues, customers and the wider International Freight Services Team.

Attitude is key!

We are happy to share the wealth of knowledge within the team for an individual who wants to work hard and deliver great service to our customers. We enjoy our jobs within IFS and would like to work with those that do too.
