Purchasing and Demand Planner
The Company

The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This role will be the interface between industrial Operations (Supply Chain), finance and sales. It will focus on providing accurate and firm demand planning whilst working closely with manufacturing to optimise capability.
The Purchasing & Demand Planner will play an integral role in the development and maintenance of the site monthly demand planning process. They will be critical in implementing the Sales & Operation Review, maintenance of the ERP system, purchasing and demand management process.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Achieve the Right product, Right quantity at the Right time
- Develop and implement purchasing plan to match production demand plan
- Liaise with contract manufacturing, production, sales, and key stakeholders to find the supply consensus between highly competitive goals as part of the S&OP process
- Drive the continuous improvement in purchasing and demand planning around manufactured finished goods, identify the shifts in trends and manage the long term purchasing and demand plan
- Ensure supply chain functions is working efficiently and effectively at MRP level.
The Person
- Ideally with previous experience in a similar role managing purchasing and demand planning within Animal Pharmaceutical Industry
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills coupled with ERP skills (preferably Movex)
- Demonstrated ability in improving purchasing and demand planning KPI`s, (e.g. production plan accuracy, DIFOTIS)
- The ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups with varying expectations and priorities.
