We have an exciting, newly created, opportunity in the Logistics Support team for a Group Logistic Vendor Manager. This will include looking for new innovative ways to improve our logistic operations.
Some key tasks will be:
- Being able to build strong relationships internally and with external logistics providers
- You will be responsible for managing third party logistics providers to deliver our product safely, meet quality and service expectations.
- Suppliers that they will be dealing with include; transport providers, recruitment, material handling equipment providers,
- Lead the Development of key pafrtnerships looking at commercial and contractural structures.
- Develop and leverage commercial relationships with key partners to drive mutual value.
Qualifications and Experience
- Retail / consumer industry – Minimum of 5 years, ideally 10+ years.
- Logistics / fulfilment industry – Minimum of 5 years, ideally 10+ years.
- Strategic transformation – ideally you will have experience leading strategic partnering.
- 3PL account management experience
