About the role
With a passion for food and customer service, at the heart of "The Food Company" is its purpose to "Delight our Customers". We are looking for someone to make an immediate impact and play a key part in moving the business forward whilst maintain a pride and passion in our product and service.
The core of this role will be to supervise the production of a variety of food products, to make maintain the sanitation of the production area whilst adhering to NZ Food Standards in particular running a Custom Food Control Plan (CFCP) in accordance to Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) regulations and delivering the products with care and quality from the manufacturing place to the clients.
Responsibilities of a Food Production Manager:
- Prepare a proper schedule of food production for the order which the company got.
- Allot the manpower accordingly with efficiency of completing the work on time.
- Must prepare a report after the completion of the production work with all necessary documents.
- Be vigilant in forecasting the risk problems before commencing the work.
- Help develop new food products welcomed by the market need.
- Need to ensure the quality and hygiene of the product and facility.
- Must develop, implement and monitor the optimum nutrition contents of the products.
- Also must ensure the safety of the employees.
