We have a great opportunity at our Finegand plant, for a person to join our Cold Chain/Dispatch department as a Supervisor of the Night Shift (hours of work from 4pm to 2am). Reporting to the Department Manager Cold Chain/Dispatch, the position is important in developing an ongoing improvement plan and a team environment within the department. With a focus on ensuring our teams work in a safe and healthy environment our ideal candidate is someone experienced in building performance based cultures that make a difference.
The successful applicants will have the following skills:
- Experience in freezer operations and inventory control
- Proven leadership and time management ability
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
The Supervisor Cold Chain/Dispatch Night Shift will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Cold Chain department, health and safety, personnel management, including coaching employees, and working on production projects when required. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their supervisory skills within one of New Zealand's largest food export companies.
