Based in Albany on the North Shore, this global label manufacturing company is a recognised market leader in all aspects of Data Capture and Labelling Solutions.
We now have the opportunity for a Team member to join our busy Warehouse / Despatch team, working to help continuously improve efficiency in delivering 100% accuracy on despatch. This is a very important hands on role that ensures the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse.
Functions for this role include:
- Picking & packing accurately as per pick lists
- Loading & unloading trucks in a safe manner using company forkhoists
- Checking goods received are correct to accompanying paperwork
- Preparing & loading pallets in an efficient manner for safe transport
- Stock management
- Completion of necessary paperwork & administration requirements
- Securing & maintaining all company equipment in a good condition
- Accurate stock-takes and inventory management
- Maintaining an efficient, organised, tidy warehouse.
- Ensuring that our customers have fast, friendly service
About you:
You are a forward thinking, reliable, hardworking and trustworthy warehouse specialist with attention to detail and have excellent problem solving skills.
You will be IT literate and have a good understanding of systems.
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years warehouse experience and understand how a well organised warehouse is crucial to being successful in this role.
You should be a great team player who can promote and be compliant with health and safety requirements.
You need to be physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling (some heavy lifting is required)
You will have good spoken and written English.
A current forkhoist licence is essential.
