ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Demand Planner will work in the Operations team and report to the Operations Manager. The primary focus of this role is to: 

• Ensure rolling 12month forecasts are maintained with a focus on forecast accuracy.
• Assist sales and marketing to build robust allocations for promotional activity.
• Drive excellence in TIL Demand planning activities through stakeholder collaboration, business process review and optimisation of ERP functionality.

The role will have shared responsibility across all TIL brands, with key accountabilities to the Trilogy & Goodness brands.
 

ROLE SPECIFICATION

Key accountabilities: 

• Managing Demand Planning Assistant and ensure they have full training, development and leadership
• Ensure consistency in outputs from Demand Planning across all TIL brands

• Lead TIL monthly Management Forecast Review meetings with the Sales, Finance & Operations teams

• ERP Super User for Demand Planning functions, promoting best-practice use and optimising benefits

• Build the bottom-up SKU budget forecast to align with FY targets and marketing activity
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to maintain a robust 12mo rolling SKU forecast, which aligns to market, channel and promotional activity
• Collate product allocation requirements for promotional, campaign and launch activity
• Provide timely feedback on key shifts in forecast demand, ensure significant changes can be accommodated and report exceptions to impacted teams
• Drive collaboration with Distribution partners to improve accuracy of forecasting and draw in external data to support the forecast

• Provide Finance with approved forecast data to feed to monthly Outturn reporting
• Reporting and analysis which assists with understanding and improving SKU profitability, sales forecasts and accuracy. Strive for continuous improvement of forecast accuracy
• Support the management of Rosehip oil allocations and maximising profit from available supply
• Adhoc tasks and reporting as agreed
   

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• 3-5 years working in a Demand or Supply planning role
• Demonstrates high commercial acumen
• People management experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, backed up with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Comfortable with ERP systems, NetSuite an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills
• High cross functional awareness and understanding of company business planning, product development and brand/channel management processes
