Your new role:
As our new Assistant Category Manager you will be responsible for delivering fast-paced support and project management for the team. You will be mentally equipped to face an array of challenges and keep a cool, focussed head. Within the role you will gain knowledge and experience to develop you into a winning Category Manager for the future.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivering customer focused strategy through effective management of product, price,
promotion and placement - Data analysis and report preparation, with recommended actions to implement
- Stock management and forecasting, range management
- Supplier relationships and collaborating with key internal stakeholders
What we are looking for:
You will have category management experience, preferably within Fresh Food and although Meat knowledge is desirable, a passion for the industry is a must. Your ability to digest data and make insightful, actionable recommendations is paramount. Excel skills will be at an advanced level, and you will have a desire to become an expert Category Manager. We are looking for someone with tenacity, great analytical skills, personality and influence.
