Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be part of the team taking charge of our brand new flagship showroom in Hamilton. This role is a varied one with multiple focusses and no two days will be the same. If you're looking for a role that allows you to showcase your sales ability and you have sound logic and system process skills then this role could be for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Championing trade sales for the branch
- Procuring new trade relationships and growing exisitng ones
- Inwards/outwards goods processes.
- Completing stock counts/investigations
- Monitoring stock levels and placing re orders
- Assisitng with showroom sales as required from time to time.
The Person
This is a very diverse role and we are looking for a person with a passion for process and efficiency who is physically fit and can also sell.
Skills and Experience
- Previous trade sales is an advantage
- Experience in tile and or stone industry also an advantage
- Warehouse/stores experience also an advantage
- Able to build relationships for the long term
- Accuracy and great attention to detail
- Computer literacy and quick uptake on systems
- Great communication skills - written & verbal
- Excellent health as there is extensive lifting
- Must have clean/full drivers license
- Must be adaptable, reliable and most importantly, have a can-do attitude!
Hours - Minimum of 40 hours per week (rosterd basis) and including possible weekend work at times
