About the Role:
 
Plumbing World Christchurch is a team who all work in together and are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team player to be a part of our great team. 
 
You will interact daily with our customers who are the heart and soul of our business, so your proven customer service and trade experience will be well utilised.  We are looking for the right candidate who has experience working in a Trade Counter/Branch environment before.
 
You will be a self-starter, have great communication skills that ensure you interact efficiently & effectively within the team.
 
You’ll have excellent attention to detail & organisational skills, be appropriately assertive, be methodical & reliable and enjoy contributing to a successful team & business.
 
You will build and maintain highly effective relationships with the Plumbing World’s external sales and branch staff to provide an effective coordination of products, specifically with regards to sales quotes and pricing. You will play a vital part in direct sales with customers, explaining the product offering, and cross-selling and up-selling on the basis of their needs.
 
Necessities for the role include strong initiative and problem-solving skills, a strong commitment to Health & Safety, and an ability to drive a forklift or a willingness to learn.
 
So, in short, we seek someone with the right attitude, physically fit as there will be some lifting, someone who is flexible and who is a total team player.
 
Skills and experience:

• Full, clean driver’s licence
• Plumbing or Merchant experience preferred
• Customer service experience is a must
• Physically fit as there will be some lifting
• Forklift licence ideal
