We are looking for fantastic 2 X Assistant Store Managers. Our stores are busy and needs people bursting with potential to work alongside them and learn how to run a business.

To ensure the overall smooth and effective operation of the business with a strong customer service orientation. You will liaise with the manger to discuss issues which will facilitate the smooth running and high quality of the business and to perform the following tasks on a day to day basis and will take sole charge for these tasks,

We are seeking people who can demonstrate the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directing the activities of Team Members to make the most effective contribution to the restaurant operation by allocating defined responsibilities to each employee and monitoring performance.
  • Be responsible for running shifts and manage the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
  • To ensure that controls and procedures necessary to protect the safety of employees and customers, company funds, property and plant are maintained by all employees on any shift under supervision.
  • Be part of ordering, managing wastage and controlling labour costs.
  • Assist Store Manager to recruit, screen, hire, train and develop new and existing staff.
  • Maintain inventory and stock levels and order products when needed.
  • To instruct trainees, on any shift, under supervision of correct company procedures.
  • Maintain a highly professional standard and ensure every other employee or shift worker does it.
  • Knowledge of Reading and understanding KPI's and P& L's in the Business.
  • Thoroughly learn and put to practice all the Health & Safety regulations and ensure every other employee and co worker does it as well.
  • Adopt various advertising techniques such as taking customers’ reviews and feedback on meals and service.
  • Assist Store Manager in the development of strategies to promote the Store with the sole aim of expanding the customer base.
  • Driving pricing and develop menus and deals to increase trials and loyalty on a periodic basis, which includes Local Sales Marketing.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

(Years of Experience, Qualifications, Licences, Endorsements):

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Business Studies at Diploma Level.
  • Relevant work experience of a minimum of one year in Managment, full time,of working at a Pizza Hut or a similar restaurant.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
