Do you know your Credits from your Debits and your FBT from your GST? If so then that's a great start! We are looking for a Graduate Accountant with a little bit of experience to join our small but awesome operations team. You will be reporting in to our Finance Manager and helping to ensure our finance processes are running efficiently and effectively at all times.

Our software provides a powerful platform to accurately manage inventory in real-time, delivering dynamic inventory intelligence for better business decisions. We partner with a range of on-line accounting, point-of-sale and e-commerce software to form a complete end-to-end business management solution. 

A bit about you: 

Ideally, you will have 1-2 years experience in an accounting role, be on a path to qualification and be looking to find a role where you can both learn and contribute to the team. The things you'll get to do: 

  • Complete daily Bank & Credit Card transaction processing and reconciliation
  • Manage the Accounts Payable 
  • File GST, FBT and PAYE returns
  • Perform the daily billing of customer subscriptions 
  • Manage customer billing and payment queries as ticketed by the Customer Engagement Team
  • Assist with monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly and yearly financial accounts
  • Complete and file Callaghan Grant applications
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of Statutory Returns 
  • Prepare accurately and timely analysis of Budgets, forecasts, and Financial Trends

The things we think you'll need: 

  • 1-2 years experience in an accounting role
  • Degree in relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance or Business)
  • Excellent MS Office Skills (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of leading practice finance policies and procedures
  • Experience with Xero and Salesforce would definitely be a plus, as would experience with SaaS based billing systems such as Zuora, or Chargify
