Do you thrive on the challenge of turning complex technical content into interesting and engaging stories for the whole country to read? In doing so helping others to understand the science behind what warms our hearts and advances technology.
Our client requires a senior communications professional to take the lead in the delivery of strategic communications to support the organisation's overall objectives and bring projects to life.
Experienced in telling the stories for a broad range of channels including social media and web. This role requires someone with the experience and maturity to contribute to the management team; to advise them as required on issues of risk, identify proactive opportunities and manage their media profile.
The ideal person for this role will offer:
- Previous experience in communication advisory roles.
- A knowledge and understanding of how to manage media.
- Excellent writing skills, proven across a range of channels.
- Prior experience in social media strategy development and implementation.
- Strong relationship management skills. An ability to develop strong, effective working relationships across the business to senior level.
Based in a small team, this role will suit a self-starter to manage daily business requirements while also looking for opportunities to bring added value to the organisation and projects through communications. Previous experience within a regulatory body or government would be an advantage but not essential.
