Be part of the dynamic team responsible for delivering high quality Dunedin City Council communications to residents, community groups, elected members and staff.
We have two fixed term Communication Advisor positions available – each for a two year term.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills will be essential to your success, as will your ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for information and advice from within and outside the organisation.
You will be able to turn your hand to a wide range of tasks, including developing and promoting internal and external communications, dealing with stakeholders and media, and engaging with social media.
Your professionalism, initiative and expertise will be put to good use in a busy, stimulating environment.
- Communications Advisor – working with a range of departments and taking the lead on media liaison.
- Communications Advisor – working on major infrastructure projects, with a focus on developing communications and engagement material.
