Stray is seeking a resourceful and talented content guru, with a passion for adventure travel. With Stray you will get to work in a supportive and creative environment with a passionate team who will assist your growth and development.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the written content and communications within Stray. You'll assist with maintaining Stray's product content, ensuring its optimised for its intended market and channel. You will support Stray's social and content strategy by creating or procuring relevant, useful or entertaining content which reflects Stray's brand and content objectives.
As Stray's Cultural Ambassador, you'll also support team building events and social activities to help maintain a positive and collaborative culture within Stray's divisions. In addition to set responsibilities the Marketing Coordinator will support adhoc activities within marketing team function including competitions, campaigns and new projects as required.
Requirements for this role include:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media or BA
- 1+ years work experience in a similar marketing role
- Proven ability in copywriting, communications and creative writing (blogs, articles etc)
- Proven ability or knowledge of social media management and best practice (especially Instragram/Facebook)
- Great people skills, confident communicator (written and oral)
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, excellent planning and time management skills
- Has some travel experience preferably in one of more of these regions (wider NZ, Australia East Coast, Southeast Asia)
This is a fixed term 12 month contract starting August 2018 through to July 2019.
