About the business

Index Studio has become one of the most trendy nail & brow bar in Auckland. We have grown rapidly over the last year and we're currently fully booked out every week! It is time for us to have a new nail tech to join us, so we can bring magic to more and more new clients.

About the role

• You'll be our new nail tech carrying out all the manicure services we currently provide. From the basic Gel Polish Manicure, Acrylic and/or Gel Extension, Apres Gel X Extension, IBX Repair and some bespoke free-hand nail art. Extra training provided but must be qualified and have excellent quality work for all the basics.
• Must be fluent in English and be social upon meeting new clients. Customer service skill is one of the keys.
• Hours: Ideally you'll be working Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturday during the day. These are our most popular appointment time and are booked out 3-4 weeks in advance for our current senior nail stylist, so you should build your clientele in no time!
• You have the option to choose to be on salary + commission, or work as a contractor paid by commission only.

Skills and experience

• Must be qualified nail technician or beautician, or a student finishing up training soon.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Must have quality work and attention to details. 
• Must be a social, reliable and caring person.
