Wendekreisen Travel has been successfully operating campervan and car hire since 1992. We are one of the main players in this industry and are proud of our extremely experienced team.

We are looking for a person to fill the position of Pre-Hire Check Technician full-time.

In this role, you will be required to:

• Carry out and record a series of checks to ensure our hire vehicles are delivered without faults

Ideally you will have:

• A variety of trade skills
• A sound understanding of automotive mechanics
• A sound understanding of 12V and 240V although we will provide training
• Other skill such as cabinetry and general maintenance

Skills that will be advantageous:

• 12V systems
• 240V systems
• Automotive Mechanics
• Plumbing
• Gas fitting
• Mechanical skills
• Cabinetry skills

However, we can train the right candidate if these skills are limited.

Core competencies required:

• Above all, it is important that you are a team player and willing to learn. Our team is experienced and successful, delivering team efforts with knowledge of the things we can do and the things we cannot.
• We are looking for someone willing to accept long-term employment (3 years - retirement) as we are based around experience and follow a philosophy of assisted learning in the workplace. We would value you as the key to success within the greater team and will treat you that way.

Additional information:

• Remuneration will be discussed upon successful application and depends on the skill level.
