This well-known Ashburton-based food processor needs a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to take charge of planned maintenance and breakdowns.

Key duties include:

Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown work
Troubleshooting engineering-related production issues
Developing/improving maintenance systems
Keeping good documentation on repairs and any ongoing maintenance issues
Project/plant development work

Our client would love to see people with:

Mechanical trade qualifications or mechanical maintenance experience developed through long-term experience
Exposure to manufacturing environments - ideally in the food sector
A friendly nature and good communication skills
