We are seeking to employ a Diesel Mechanic to operate out of our field service van. You will be busy attending break downs and servicing our various pieces of machinery around the Canterbury region.
Work ranges from small plant, plate compactors etc all the way through to utes, trucks, construction equipment, to quarry trucks and loaders. Petrol experience would be helpful. A real “can do” attitude will be a winner and you will enjoy the variety of work and different workplaces.
The ideal applicant will:
- Have a proven track record in diagnostic techniques
- Have appropriate heavy traffic licences
- Have a proactive approach to safety, quality and environmental issues
- Be flexible to work beyond “normal” working hours when required.
Applicants must be NZ residents or hold valid NZ work visa.
Employment is subject to satisfactorily completing a medical examination and drug test.
