If you are looking to move from a commercial role into Chartered Accounting, then this is the role for you. Due to growth, we have a vacancy within our team for a Client Accountant overseeing the monthly accounting requirements for a number of our clients.
The main duties would be invoicing, processing supplier invoices, payroll, preparation of PAYE and GST returns, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing monthly management reports and liaising with our clients in a professional manner.
In addition, there will also be an opportunity to complete annual financial statements and tax returns; however, we would provide full training in this regard.
We encourage progression in our firm and as such the successful applicant will have scope to grow not only within the Client Accountant role but other roles within our firm. If you are currently/contemplating studying towards your CA, we are an approved training organisation and are committed to helping you achieve your qualifications.
If you are an experienced assistant accountant or a company accountant, like interacting with people from different industries and want to further your experience and knowledge in the accounting field, then this job is for you.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to talk and relate to us and our clients. Experience with Xero and WorkflowMax would definitely place you above other candidates, but is not essential. A driver’s license would be beneficial as there may be periodic travel to and from our client’s premises.
