Due to exponential growth our client is looking for a Service Technician with a background as either an Electronics Technician, Auto Electrician or Electrical Technician – qualified; or if no formal qualifications with hands-on experience within this or similar industry sectors.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Visiting sites for installation, service and repairs as required.
- Fault assessment, diagnostic repairs
- Installation and servicing of products
- Delivery of equipment with troubleshooting of technical and operational issues.
- Providing advice on optimisation of equipment
To be considered for this role you will have the following:
- An Electronics, Auto-electrical or Electrical Qualification, or if you have no formal qualification, you will have a minimum 3+ years’ experience.
- Be detail oriented with a ‘Can Do’ attitude along with a ‘Service Excellence’ mind-set.
- Impeccable communication skills both with your peers and clients
- Proven problem solving/troubleshooting skills and acute attention to detail
- Great Team Spirit, dedicated and trustworthy with proven career longevity
- Ideally previous Electronic Traffic Management or Parking Systems experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
This is a busy role and at times there will be some degree of pressure, however in return you will benefit from in-house training and experience with a range of technologies that are well respected in their market along with an excellent support network. You should also be holding legal rights to work in NZ with a minimum 3 year Visa.
