Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for another talented electrician to join our team.
Your role will be mix of installation and upgrade projects with some maintenance and service work too. There will be plenty to keep you interested with the various manufacturers and OEMs we work with.
Projects will include new machine wiring for OEMs as well as installing various new and used machinery on sites. We are also pursuing the growing EV charging infrastructure market in Auckland and around NZ.
While covering our customer's plants, you will respond to breakdowns, carry out preventative maintenance checks and perform repairs.
While prior industrial experience is preferred, someone who has the right attitude and hunger to learn will be equally suitable in this role.
Normal work hours are 7am-3.30pm Monday - Friday, with some overtime work available at time and a half. You will get the use of a company van and phone, as you will need to move around different sites as jobs require. There are opportunities for travel within NZ, especially with the EV charging side of the business.
If you are a good, honest, NZ Registered electrician who has some industrial experience and has good installation and maintenance skills, then you're the kind of person we're looking for.
To do well in this position you must be able to think for yourself and be a good problem solver. Fluency in English, a full, clean NZ Driver's License and the right to work in NZ are essential. We want someone who takes pride in themselves and their work.
