Tauranga Hospital is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors. As such Tauranga Hospital is seeking to employ a qualified security officer on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively diffuse challenging situations through effective engagement with parties. You will also have good computer skills and the ability to operate Closed Circuit Television systems.

You will be physically fit, have life experience, be reliable, and have common sense. You will be expected to make decisions on the fly and work as part of a team. A clean NZ driver's licence is required.

Candidates must be able to work day and night shifts, weekends and public holidays on a roster system.
