Coulter Elite Resourcing is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and driven Heavy Machine Diesel Mechanic.

About the company:

Our client is New Zealand's leading South Pacific distributor for XCMG, Mantall and Palazzani construction machinery, committed to supplying and supporting cost effective equipment solutions to a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
• Major and minor services
• Maintenance and component replacements
• Fabrication and new machine builds as required
• Various Component rebuilding to a set standard
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field

Requirements:

• Trade qualifications as a Diesel/Plant Mechanic
• Extensive experience working on Earthmoving, Construction and Material Handling machinery
• Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues
• Forklift license advantageous
• Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
• Good diagnostic skills and some knowledge of electrics
• LPG experience
• Someone who doesn't mind going that little bit extra on the job to complete it
• Team player, Reliable and punctual 
• Someone open to new learnings as we have a number of different types of machinery i.e. Forklifts, Rollers Footpads, Generators, Compressors Diggers Etc
