We are looking for an experienced Forklift Technician to join a busy team of technicians servicing the Wellington area.
The role
You will be field service based with some workshop duties when required.
The role will include the following duties:
- On site customer visits
- Attending to breakdowns
- Regular servicing as required
- Minor and major repairs
- Working on a wide variety of forklifts including electric, diesel, and LPG
- Fault finding and diagnostics
Requirements
We are looking for a Forklift Technician with solid experience to their credit. The following skills, experience and attributes are required:
- Trade qualified diesel technician, light automotive technician, or auto electrician
- A minimum of 5 years' experience on forklifts
- Solid customer service and field service experience
- Ability to diagnose faults
- Minor and major repair ability
- Solid all round forklift experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent English communication skills
- A real team player
