We are a commercial building maintenance company located in Mulgrave with a large volume of general building and maintenance works for a variety of clients.   Works include local government, schools, government housing etc.  

We are currently seeking motivated and forward thinking maintenance carpenters to join our busy team immediately.    You will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and maintenance works, predominately within local government and also other projects when required.   A team player with a good work ethic and a "can do" attitude is a must, together with a commitment to delivering high quality workmanship.  Experienced and skilled handymen also welcome to apply.

Successful applicants will need:

• A proven background in building and property maintenance
• The ability to work independently and respond promptly to maintenance requests
• The ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship without supervision
• Perform all duties to a high standard
• Carry out tasks with minimal disruption to customers and users
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently to complete tasks and manage a high volume workload
• The ability to prioritise and organise work load
• The ability to follow systems and processes, including paperwork

• Excellent time management and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service
• A strong technical understanding and strong understanding of OHS responsibilities and practices
• White card
• Must have a "Right to Work in Australia"
• Must have own tools and transport (suitable trades vehicle and valid drivers licence)
• Current Police and Working with Children check is required
• Evidence of experience

Positions are on a contract basis, however a full time position may be offered to the right person after a successful trial period.

Roles are varied and wage dependent on skills and experience of application.
