The Company:
Our client is a privately owned Australian Crane company. The company's efficiency and flexibility provide customised overhead crane solutions at competitive prices. Their built cranes are sought after many diverse industries, including well respected civil and industrial developers, not just local to Australia but also around the world.
The Role:
Our client is seeking to employ two Workshop CNC Machinists, to join the team at their Ingleburn branch to program and machine crane/s and winch components, the use of Solidcam and solid works, maintenance and repair of CNC machines, conventional machining, use of precision measuring tools and quality control of all works completed.
The Candidate:
To be successful in this role you need:
- CNC knowledge and skills in producing components of the highest quality and calibre
- Trade qualifications as a Fitter and Turner, CNC Machinist ideally with 5 years' practical experience - must be able to provide copy of qualifications
- Experienced trade qualified machinist for general duties
- A strong background in heavy machining on both conventional & CNC machines is essential
- Experience in 4th and 5th axis machining would be needed
- A sound knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls would be an advantage
- Heavy machining on both conventional & Geminis GT5 CNC metal lathe and a GBR3 bed type milling machine essential
- Superior trade skills in CNC machining are a necessity
