Harry the Hirer Productions is seeking an experienced Lighting Technician to join our Melbourne team working across premium event spaces on high-end events nationally. We require an experienced, enthusiastic, positive-minded person to deliver creative lighting shows on a daily basis.
This role is instrumental in all phases of lighting production including design, prep, installation and operation of a large, high-end lighting inventory. You will provide logistical and live event expertise and be a resource for the entire event delivery process from brief through to final delivery.
A suitable candidate will possess;
Industry Experience
- Skilled use of MA and Hog lighting consoles.
- Proven experience in creative lighting design and programming in live events.
- Excellent knowledge of signal paths and troubleshooting lighting systems.
- Assist the operations team with project planning and resource allocation.
- Proven experience in team leadership in a technical event environment.
- Able to perform well under pressure and make innovative decisions
- Demonstrated background of good performance and decision making under pressure.
- The ability to manage and work within set labour budgets.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- An attitude that appreciates the meaning of responsibility and the willingness to take command of a project from conception through to delivery and removal.
- Must be able to present in corporate environments.
- Current manual driver's license. Competent driving 3T trucks.
- Available to work days/evenings/weekends.
