Due to a HUGE increase in local infrastructure development and contract work, DCR are currently looking to engage several highly skilled & experienced Traffic Controllers to meet our client’s needs, for ongoing work.
A successful applicant will posses the following factors and complete the following tasks on a daily basis.
* OH&S Construction General Induction (White) Card
* Blue -Traffic Controller Card
* Yellow - Implement Traffic Control Plans Card
* Unrestricted Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
* Previous experience is preferred
* Willing to work on an "On Call" roster
* Must be available for 10-12 hour shifts during the Day, Night and of a weekend (Yes, you will get your penalty rates)
* Prepare, maintain and implement specific Safety Management Plans
* Accurate completion of all daily documentation, as required
* Loading and unloading of vehicles with signage and associated devices required for completion of designated shift activities
* Accurately complete Site Hazard/Risk Assessments and implement control measures to suit the site on a daily basis
* Accurately layout a traffic management scheme in accordance with TCAWS, from a either a generic or site specific Traffic Control Plan (TCP) as directed by your project manager.
