We are a maintenance business based in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions providing professional and affordable services within the residential and commercial property markets.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Carpenter/Handyman to join our team to carry out all round general property maintenance duties, where you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Patching and painting
- Plastering
- Tiling
- Carpentry
- Minor plumbing and electrical
- Construction
- General ad-hoc maintenance/repairs
- Liaising with clients
The successful applicant will have the following attributes and experience:-
- Minimum 5 year's experience in a similar role
- Trade qualifications
- Outstanding problem solving skills
- Impeccable communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure
- Proactively follows safety policies and procedures
- Work in a team and unsupervised
- Must hold a General Construction Induction certificate (White Card)
The successful candidate will be initially employed on a casual basis while completing a 3 - 6 month trial.
Wage package will be base salary + car + super.
