CMV Truck and Bus is the Victorian dealer for Volvo Group Australia (Mack, Volvo and UD Trucks) with over 400 employees.We sell trucks and buses and provide service and parts for our complete range as the authorised dealer network. Our new state of the art dealership in Derrimut features the latest showroom, workshop and parts innovation, and provides dedicated sales and aftersales support for our growing Mack, UD and Volvo customer base in the area. Our team of loyal and experienced staff are focussed on delivering and keeping our customer’s vehicles on the road, where they should be.
About the role
A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Representative in a full time position based at our Derrimut dealership. Your responsibility will be to drive our heavy parts product growth to our existing customers as well as seek new business opportunities and provide the highest level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts and consignment stores and establish and maintain a formal follow-up system
- Provide reliable information to clients in regard to prices, discounts, parts availability, delivery dates, lead times and parts compilations
- Provide industry leading customer service to existing accounts and new customers
- Actively prospect and monitor new business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Maintain customer database and associated reporting
- Process customer invoices and quotations for parts requirements
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in the automotive industry - Heavy vehicle parts logistics experience preferred
- Result and task driven
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a broader team
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Computer literate – previous experience with Dealer Pro or similar system highly regarded
- Current manual car licence
- Forklift licence
