Precisionscreen is a manufacturer and importer of mobile screening and crushing equipment and has been successfully established for over 30 years. Precisionscreen are Australian East Coast Sandvik dealers for mobile crushing and screening equipment and are Rammer & Bretec dealers for Queensland and Papua New Guinea.

We are currently seeking an experienced Service & Warranty Manager to join our head office team based out of Stapylton (Gold Coast) and Wacol (Brisbane).

This role involves managing a national team of Service Technicians - scheduling, budgeting, increasing the service revenue while meeting customers expectations and meeting call out times. Additionally,  diagnosing problems over the phone and diagnosing/repairing machines on site if necessary.

Reporting to the General Manager the successful applicant will be involved in:

  • Lead, mentor and train the service team
  • Planning, delegating and scheduling work, coaching and assisting technicians on the job when needed
  • Resolving servicing and any invoicing issues with clients
  • Compiling detailed reports
  • Improving the departments efficiency and productivity
  • Attend onsite commissioning, de-commissioning and diagnose any problems
  • Increase the revenue building culture within the team
  • You will be given the autonomy to make decisions on how best to deliver high levels of customer service, to continue to increase customer-base and to achieve performance targets

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Extensive managerial experience, experience managing a field service team or similar would be highly regarded
  • Extensive industry experience with mobile crushing and screening equipment or similar capital equipment
  • A sound knowledge of electric, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of mining and quarrying industries
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills and computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to problem-solve and make instant decisions
  • A solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety, and the ability to identify training opportunities for the service team
  • Trade qualified
  • Must be prepared to travel
