We are currently seeking to recruit a suitably experienced Maintenance Officer to work at Juniper's facilities in Perth's South East.

The purpose of this role is to provide general building maintenance services at this locations as directed. This will include; general maintenance of grounds, buildings, fittings and equipment.

On offer for the successful candidate will be a casual position with the ability to work at least 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

• Perform maintenance duties as required while ensuring economical and safe use of Juniper’s resources
• Maintains facilities in accordance with policies and strives to meet outcome standards related to the condition of the physical environment
• Respects residents’ private property and their right to privacy
• Maintaining fixed assets using appropriate trade skills, tools or outside providers as necessary
• Applies the principles of planned preventative maintenance
• Maintains knowledge and skills in accordance with the required competencies of the position

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required: 

• Trade qualification relevant to the construction and maintenance or buildings and equipment (desirable)
• Understanding of current OSH and legal requirements.
• A current C class drivers licence (required)
• Sound experience in building maintenance and related areas.
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively without supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
